Activity Overview

RISE PerformanceImprovement is a three-stage performance improvement activity by whichevidence-based performance measures and quality improvement interventions / changesare used to help providers identify patient care areas for improvement andpositively change their performance.

Current RISE registry users will be able to assess their current qualitymeasure performance in their 2026 RISE dashboard, select measures in which theywould like to improve performance, implement changes within their practice for90 consecutive days to improve measure performance, and re-assess measureperformance to see if and how their performance changed.

Registrationis complimentary.


Target Audience 

Rheumatologists and primary care providers; professionals interested or engaged inrheumatology research.


Learning Objectives 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess their performance on quality measures and identifywhich measures need performance improvement
  • Identify and implement change(s) in their practice toimprove their quality measure performance
  • Assess their quality measure performance afterimplementing the change(s) and summarize the outcome that resulted fromimplementing the change(s)

MOC Recognition Statement: American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 20.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

By completing this activity, you provide the ACR permission to share completion data with the ACCME and the certifying board. 

After submitting a reflective statement with key takeaways from the activity, MOC points will be applied for ABIM diplomates to the ABIM diplomate number and date of birth provided when you registered. Points are sent nightly to ACCME and then transferred to the ABIM Physician Portal. Please allow at least 48 hours for points to display in the portal.
