Rheumatology Review Course 2025
Activity Overview
The ACR Rheumatology Review Course consists of eight lectures spanning the scope of rheumatology. This full-day session, which took place during ACR Convergence 2025, is designed to provide a comprehensive update for practitioners.
Target Audience
Rheumatologists, physician assistants, fellows in training, rheumatology interprofessionals, and students.
Registration is discounted for ACR/ARP members. If you are not a member, consider joining ACR/ARP.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate recent advancements in the treatment of pediatric and adult systemic lupus erythematosus to inform evidence-based clinical decision-making
- Summarize recent advances in the classification, diagnosis, and treatment of vasculitis to enhance clinical decision-making and patient outcomes
- Analyze the clinical and laboratory findings, diagnostic approach, and pathophysiology of macrophage activation syndrome to facilitate early recognition and intervention in rheumatologic settings
- Integrate recent diagnostic criteria and emerging treatment strategies to improve the management of patients with gout
- Recognize and classify common and atypical cutaneous manifestations associated with rheumatic diseases to support accurate diagnosis and timely referral or treatment
- Differentiate true myositis from its clinical mimics using diagnostic criteria, imaging, and laboratory findings to avoid misdiagnosis and guide appropriate management
- Apply key pharmacologic principles and clinical insights to optimize drug management strategies in patients with rheumatic diseases
- Interpret clinical and imaging findings associated with inflammatory brain disease to enhance diagnostic accuracy and management strategies in rheumatologic practice

MOC Recognition Statement: American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 5.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
By completing this activity, you provide the ACR permission to share completion data with the ACCME and the certifying board.
After submitting a reflective statement with key takeaways from the activity, MOC points will be applied for ABIM diplomates to the ABIM diplomate number and date of birth provided when you registered. Points are sent nightly to ACCME and then transferred to the ABIM Physician Portal. Please allow at least 48 hours for points to display in the portal.
