Activity Overview

This inaugural Global Journal Club webinar is part of the ongoing educational Global Webinar Series created for a global audience of rheumatologists and rheumatology health professionals. This Global Journal Club session aims to facilitate the discussion of recent and impactful articles in the field of rheumatology, fostering a global exchange of knowledge and ideas. 

In this first webinar, we will discuss two recent and impactful articles published in Arthritis & Rheumatology with the authors: 

  • Association of Cardiovascular Outcomes With Low-Dose Glucocorticoid Prescription in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Association of Autoantibody Concentrations and Trajectories With Lupus Nephritis Histologic Features and Treatment Response

  • Develop the ability to critically analyze and evaluate recent research articles in the field of rheumatology, identifying key findings, methodologies, and implications for clinical practice
  • Have enhanced knowledge and insights into emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in global rheumatology

Global Journal Club Webinar

The Global Meet the Experts webinar is part of an ongoing virtual educational series for a global health audience of rheumatologists and rheumatology professionals. This session includes three case presentations of myositis from around the world, with a focus on the challenging aspects of diagnosis and/or management. The cases were selected after a call inviting submissions from across the globe. The webinar features an engaging panel discussion between leading international authorities in the field.
