Activity Information

This session in the ACR Convergence 2024 Replay series is a recorded webinar that took place on June 12, 2025.  The series features popular scientific sessions followed by a Q&A with the faculty.

This session features dermatologists with expertise in diseases in skin of color and systemic sclerosis and its mimics.  It includes updates in the management of psoriasis from a dermatologist’s perspective, which may differ from the way we approach patients with musculoskeletal involvement.

Registration is discounted for ACR/ARP members. If you are not a member, consider joining ACR/ARP.


Target Audience

Rheumatologists, dermatologists, and rheumatology interprofessionals who care for patients with rheumatic diseases.


Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize how rheumatic disease appears in skin of color and recognize the challenges that lead to disparities in this patient population as they pertain to skin disease
  • Differentiate the skin manifestations of systemic sclerosis and its mimics and describe therapies for each
  • Delineate the dermatologist’s perspective for psoriasis management
