This lecture is about the new Lupus Nephritis (LN) guidelines. This session describes the new lupus nephritis guideline, which was based on a standardized protocol that prioritized relevant clinical questions about LN treatments and a systematic literature review.

Target Audience

Rheumatologists, physicians, and primary care providers who care for patients with rheumatic diseases, and those interested in or engaged in rheumatology research.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss with a colleague how the new lupus nephritis guidelines were developed
• Explain to a colleague or patient the newest diagnostic recommendations for lupus nephritis

• Explain to a colleague or patient the newest recommendations for the management of lupus nephritis
