Series Overview
The Advanced Rheumatology Course is a 19-activity series for advanced practice providers and other professionals who need a deeper dive into rheumatology. The series covers how to assess and manage patients with rheumatic disease, develop strategies to integrate NP/PAs into rheumatology practice, and improve access to care for patients. The advanced information will help experienced practice providers function well in rheumatology and foster inter-professional collaboration.

Advanced practice nurses and physician assistants. Fellows-in training, residents, students, primary care providers, physical therapists, and researchers may also benefit.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Assess and manage patients with rheumatic diseases as part of an interprofessional collaborative care team
Develop strategies to integrate the nurse practitioner and physician assistant into a collaborative rheumatology practice
Assist in decreasing wait times for appointments and improve access to care for patients with rheumatic disease by improving the competence and performance of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in a collaborative rheumatology practice

AMA
The ACR designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 25.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAPA
The ACR has been authorized by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 25.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until August 19, 2029. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
ACPE
The ACR designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 25.25 hours of ACPE contact hour(s). Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Credit will be uploaded to the NABP CPE Monitor® within 60 days after activity completion. Per ACPE rules, ACR does not have access nor the ability to upload credits requested after the evaluation closes. It is the responsibility of the pharmacist or pharmacy technician to provide the correct information (NABP ID and date of birth (MMDD)) to receive credit. The Universal Activity Number(s) are specific to each module - see specific module information.
All continuing pharmacy education credits must be claimed within 60 days of the enduring activity you attend. To be sure your CE is accepted inside of ACPE's 60-day window, plan to process your CE before August 19, 2029, at 11:59 PM ET. After the 60-day deadline, ACR will no longer be able to award credit for this activity.
ANCC
The ACR designates this activity for a maximum of 25.25 ANCC contact hours.
IPCE
